| My name is Monique Balogun and I am a 31 year old mum to Afrikiyah and partner to Adam. Before working with Children, I studied a BA in performing arts and worked for protocol Education while looking for acting jobs. I then decided that I wanted to work with children full time and since having my own child I wanted to combine working with children while raising my own. While working for Protocol Education I have gained 6 years' experience in child care ranging from 4 months to16+ years and also varying abilities within special needs care from autism to PMLD children. I am fully insured with Morton Michel and I am a member of Pacey As a qualified childminder my training includes pre-registration child minding, safeguarding and paediatric first aid. I have a keen interest and passion in child development and love being involved in helping children reach their potential and gain self-confidence. I have come to learn how different every child's needs are and use my knowledge to adapt my learning environment to suit the needs of each individual.
